Greetings Honorable Delegates,
My name is Iason (Jason) Chalkidis, I’m 22 years old, I was born and raised in Thessaloniki, Greece and I’m in the end of my undergraduate studies at the University of Macedonia at the department of Balkan Slavic and Oriental studies. During the 8th semester, I also studied political sciences at the Sciences Po of Rennes, France. At this year’s ThessISMUN 2018, I will have the honor to be again a part of the CRPD Committee’s Board-members, this year as the President of the Committee, and I’m very excited about it.
Furthermore, I have participated successfully in numerous simulations of local and international organizations in Greece, Romania, Holland and France, as a delegate, chairperson and crisis director and in many different languages such Greek, French and English.
During this year’s ThessISMUN, I’m looking forward meeting you all, cooperate, debate upon multiple serious topics concerning the persons with disabilities and find numerous solutions to their problems and needs. At last, I am waiting you all at Thessaloniki for ThessISMUN 2018.
