Dear all,
My name is Panagiotis Adamos and it is my great honor and pleasure to address you from the post of the Co-Chair of the Economic and Social Council. Therefore I would like to welcome you all!
As far as I am concerned, I am 23 years old and I was born in Athens and raised in Tinos and Trikala, Greece. Driven by my willingness to discover the complexity of the rule of law, I hold a Bachelor degree in the Faculty of Law from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Currently, I am a trainee lawyer in Thessaloniki and my academic and professional interests are focused on Commercial Law, Corporate Law (SMEs), Maritime Law, and International Private Law, studying and understanding the meaning of the multifunctional legal science and its effective use towards the social environment. Apart from that, I have participated in many projects and initiatives (Law School, workshops, study visits), and I have offered my services as Director of Academic Activities of ELSA Thessaloniki.
My first MUN was back in 2014 and since then I have been a part of several MUN and Regional Organizations Simulations. Therefore, I can tell for sure that the profits you gain from these experiences are numerous: develop ideas, speak in public feeling confident, behave into the boundaries of diplomatic courtesy, improve your knowledge on legal and political science and get familiar with the concept of international relations. When the whole world is trying to find a balance between prosperity and regulatory stability, these initiatives can be a crucial first step.
You will soon realize that ThessISMUNs are experiences that you have to live. To be a member of this family…there is nothing like it! Alongside with Elpida we will try to make this one the best you ever had!
