ThessISMUN 2019 Head of the Administrative Staff
My name is Anastasia Simou and I am 20 years old. I am a senior student at the University of Macedonia, Faculty of International and European Studies. My academic interests focus on various sectors of International Relations. From an early age, I had a great interest in volunteering. Thus, my first MUN experience was in ThessisMun 2016, as a staff member. It was a truly memorable experience that made me enter the ‘MUNs world’. Sometimes staff members may be unnoticed but I assure you that no conference can be held without the support of this amazing team.
In ThessISMun2019 I have the honor to serve as the Head of Administrative Staff. I would like to welcome each and every one of you to ThessISMUN 2019 and to assure you that with the help of my beloved deputies head of staff, a beautiful lady and a wonderful gentleman, this year’s staff team will do everything to organize the best conference you ever been to and deliver the best experience to each one of you.
ThessISMUN 2019 Deputies Head of the Administrative Staff
My name is George Savvidis and I’m 22 years old. I was born in Giannitsa and raised in Veroia, while I currently study at the University of Macedonia in the department of Balcan Slavic and Oriental Studies.
Other than that I really love learning new foreign languages, therefore I speak four at the moment, while, I also like organizing events or generally getting involved in the organizing process.
At first I was drawn to ThessISMUN because of the possibility of debating on several international matters, but the organizing part of the conference was rather intriguing and exciting. Therefore, my first ever experience as a ThessISMUN participant was back in 2017 as a staff member and last year I was honored to be the Flower Manager. This year I’m more than excited to have the opportunity of being Deputy Head, which I hope, will result in having a great ThessISMUN 2019.

My name is Dimitra Karavassili and I am 21 years old. I am in the 3rd year of studies in the Department of International & European Studies at the University of Macedonia. I am interested in public relations and business matters but I always grab the chance to participate in conferences of any kind.
My MUN experience started in high school when I was 13 years old. Some years later, I heard about ThessISMUN and I immediately decided to become a staff member. I am a team player, I love meeting, communicating with people and giving my help in any case.
ThessisMUN is like a tradition for me to which I can’t resist. This year I have the honour to serve as Deputy Head of Staff and I am more than happy to work with the best, Anastasia and George for one more year.
We are responsible for the organising part of the Conference which start months before so as everything to be in order for you. Staff Members are always alert, next to you and ready to help you and inform you about everything you may need.
I hope to see you again this year among with many new members! I can assure you that ThessISMUN2019 will be amazing!
