Committee of Ministers: Vice-President

Esteemed all,

My name is Christine Tolika, I am 23 years old and I am a graduated student of the department of Balkan, Slavic and Oriental Studies in University of Macedonia.

At this year’s ThessISMUN, I will have the honor to serve as the Vice – President of the Council of Europe, and I am very pleased to welcome you to the committee of Ministers.

My MUNs’ experience started as a journalist in 2016 and since then I have participated in several conferences and simulations both as delegate and as board member.  Μy interest to public policy and more specifically to intercultural policy and human rights as well as scientific research, came from the participation in various conferences, simulations, research groups and my internship at the UNESCO Chair in the University of Macedonia.

Through my participation in such conferences, I had the opportunity to broaden my knowledge on global issues of our times and managed to develop my personality, understanding the importance of standing up for my beliefs and opinion. More importantly, I met like-minded people with whom I shared ideas, different aspects about pressing matters, memories of this lifetime experience.

Along with the President and the Secretary General, it is our high priority to make the committee sessions a solid ground to bring your thesis and make ThessISMUN 2019 an unforgettable experience for each one of you.

Kind regards,
Christine Tolika
