My name is Anastasios-Aias Oikonomidis. I was born and raised in Thessaloniki. I am 22 years old and I traverse the final year of my studies in the faculty of law at Democritus University of Thrace. I speak English fluently and French. Currently I work as an intern at the Greek Embassy in London. Also I have worked at the Administrative Court of Thessaloniki as an intern. My academic interests include international and maritime law, constitutional law, global affairs, diplomatic history and politics.
Following the past 3 years I attended various conferences and events regarding the abovementioned fields. My first conference was ThessISMUN 2017 in which I had the opportunity to represent Brazil in Ecosoc committee, thus I am glad that the following year I shall return as a board member in the very same committee from which my mun journey began. All these years I developed a keen interest in crisis management, multilateral cooperation and fruitful debates and my goal for 2019 conference is to introduce this amazing and intriguing world of international affairs to all newcomers.
