Maria Stefiadou is a 21-year-old student, from Thessaloniki. She is currently in her third year of postgraduate studies, in the Political Sciences Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, while she has spent a semester in Warsaw as an Erasmus student, studying International Relations. She also participates actively in studies and research conducted by the European Institute on Gender Equality as a workspace member and practices on political journalism through being a columnist on news’ and political websites. Her range of academic interests concerns gender-related issues, European policies, and contemporary global politics.
Maria started her MUN journey back in 2016 as a high school student; since then, she has taken part in numerous stimulations of international, regional and sectional organizations, both in Greece and other countries, such as Romania and Israel, through being a delegate, a head delegate, and a chairperson, and she is looking forward to experiencing many more MUN conferences in the future.
