Maria Sotiropoulou was born in the city of Argos, and since her childhood she was an energetic and extroverted person, being passionate about foreign languages and debating. At the age of 17, she participated in the Summer School Program of the Center of Hellenic Studies in Greece, Harvard University. She is currently finishing her studies in Political Science, at the University of Crete, an object she is truly excited about. In 2017, she started participating in numerous Greek and International simulations and programs, and it seems like what started as an academic process turned into a passion.

She interned in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as she aspires to become a member of the Diplomatic Corps. She is fluent in English and French, and is fascinated by French culture and art. Her interests consist of foreign and European affairs, marketing and management, gender equality and women’s rights. During the days of the conference, she aims to help with her devotion to the democratic process, her respect for her partners and delegates, and her cheerfulness and positive energy.
