UN International Court of Justice (ICJ): Advocate

Elina Bitzika was born and raised in Thessaloniki. She is currently an undergraduate student at the Department of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, having developed a passion for Business & Law, as well as Public International Law. Besides her studies, she speaks English, German and French and likes to partake in several volunteer projects.

Her journey in the world of simulations started when she was just fifteen years old and continues up to now, with the same enthusiasm for diplomacy, international security and human rights. Altogether, she has participated in more than 10 simulations of the United Nations, National, and Regional Organizations, as a delegate and as a board member. In her 3 rd ThessISMUN, she will have the pleasure to serve as the Rapporteur of the International Court of Justice, her all-time favorite committee. While this committee might be the most challenging of them all, it is also unique: You have the opportunity to express and develop your legal arguments, along with your public speaking skills.

Overall, she firmly believes that this year’s ThessISMUN will be filled with unforgettable moments and cannot wait to meet you all in person!
